How it works using Red Edge as your Buyer's Agent
Search for homes:
Our site lists homes powered by the MLS. You can use our site to narrow or broaden your home search and schedule home showings from your computer.
Choose a Red Edge agent:
Each agent has a biography showcasing his or her strengths. Choose the agent with whom you feel comfortable. You can even talk to several and pick your partner. Remember, using a buyer’s agent is completely free to you.
Figure out financing:
Red Edge knows Louisville’s lenders. We can pair you with a lender who will listen to what you need and help you get pre-approved for a home you can comfortably afford.
Tour homes with Red Edge:
Schedule tours online, and a Red Edge agent will show you each home (with a limit of five to qualify for the commission share).
Discuss your discoveries:
If you’re excited about a home you toured, tell us. To find out if that home is a good deal, a Red Edge agent will prepare a report detailing recent home sales in that neighborhood. If you’re ready to make an offer after examining the evaluation, your agent will investigate the seller's situation and put together the paperwork for you to sign.
Negotiations and closing:
We will then present the listing agent with a written offer. The sellers will accept, reject, or counter your offer. At this time, we’ll negotiate the terms of the contract if necessary. When the seller accepts an offer, it becomes a legal contract. The average refund when working a Red Edge agent is $750.
When am I committed to using Red Edge?
When you choose Red Edge, there's no obligation. You're only committed to working with us once you've signed an offer on a specific home, but only for that particular home.
