Louisville's Logan Street Market Opens
An Urban Indoor Market Launches in Shelby Park
By Mike Hall, Broker/Agent/Owner
The Logan Street Market is another reason it’s great to live in Louisville.
The Logan Street Market in the Shelby Park area of Louisville had a two-year journey before it opened. It began as an old warehouse, and after extensive dreaming and reconstruction, it’s now full of shops and vendors with all kinds of wares, from coffees to crafts.
The 25,000 square-foot space combines some of the warehouse’s industrial elements with clean, creative spaces to provide the urban inside marketspace. The market can hold 500 people at once, and there’s free street parking for the guests. The Logan Street Market is Louisville’s only indoor open market and promises to be a great venue for Louisville locals and area visitors. There are cheeses, baked goods, meats, coffee, a variety of hand-crafted goods, and much more. There’s even an area for kids to play and a bubble tea vendor!
The Logan Street Market will be open Tuesdays through Sundays, from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., with restaurants and bars offering extended hours. The market is just another reason that it’s great to live in Louisville.
