Tackle your to-do list before the cold sets in
We've got a few weekends ahead where the temperatures may be chilly but not too cold to get your house ready for the winter.
Even if you're not in the market to sell, keeping your home up-to-date and well-maintained is smart so that when you're ready, so is your house. I found this to-do listed from a trusted source for all things home - Better Homes and Gardens.
Keep the winter cold out and your home nice and cozy (and dry).
Bea-lieve it, or not - Bea Metts joined Red Edge
I've had the pleasure of working with Bea Metts for well over a decade. Not just in real estate but in the mortgage industry as well.
I couldn't be more pleased she joined my team here at Red Edge. She arguably has the best customer service skills I've ever seen. What does that mean for you? You'll be happy during your real estate transaction - she'll make sure of it.
Bea has everything a Louisville buyer or seller would want - experience, good communication skills, knowledge of the industry and negotiation forte. She's just the whole package when it comes to being a great real estate agent. Please help me welcome Bea!

Louisville.com's list for things to do in October
Ready to celebrate the more sordid side of autumn? Halloween. Louisville has great attractions to satisfy your every ghastly desire.
- Crave a scare - visit Waverly Hills for a tour.
- Wanna show off your cute kids - visit Boo at the Zoo.
- Ready to carve a jack-o-latern - head to Huber's to pick the great pumpkin.
Visit louisville.com to read the entire top 10 Halloween hit list.
Pumpkins, mums and football.
Okay, so I manned up the title a little bit by adding football. So, fall is here and it's a great time to live in and around Louisville.
Of course, I love football. I have season tickets to watch U of L play at home. So, getting into October means touchdowns and tailgating.
Then you've got pumpkins galore. This weekend is a great time to head out to any one of the areas pumpkin patches - I like Huber's and Gallrein Farms. You can get your pumpkin fix and maybe buy a couple of those mums I mentioned in the title.
