Tackle your to-do list before the cold sets in
We've got a few weekends ahead where the temperatures may be chilly but not too cold to get your house ready for the winter.
Even if you're not in the market to sell, keeping your home up-to-date and well-maintained is smart so that when you're ready, so is your house. I found this to-do listed from a trusted source for all things home - Better Homes and Gardens.
Keep the winter cold out and your home nice and cozy (and dry).

Pumpkins, mums and football.
Okay, so I manned up the title a little bit by adding football. So, fall is here and it's a great time to live in and around Louisville.
Of course, I love football. I have season tickets to watch U of L play at home. So, getting into October means touchdowns and tailgating.
Then you've got pumpkins galore. This weekend is a great time to head out to any one of the areas pumpkin patches - I like Huber's and Gallrein Farms. You can get your pumpkin fix and maybe buy a couple of those mums I mentioned in the title.
