Melissa Swartz Rice knows houses.“If you want to live in the house, you have to help build it,” her dad used to say. A contractor by trade, Melissa Swartz Rice's dad certainly instilled hard work and a team-first mentality.
Her dad's parenting and his profession took Melissa on a successful journey - although not at the same time.
A career leader in scoring as a three-sport athlete in high school, Melissa made All-American and was inducted into the hall of fame at Shippensburg University. She went on to coach basketball and field hockey at Bellarmine University before launching into a medical billing career and starting her own company, Kentuckiana Billing Solutions, Inc.
In 2017, Melissa found a dream home of her own with her husband and three children. Fueled by the joy of that experience and her childhood, Melissa is eager to help her clients do the same.
